Can you help?
We're gathering views & opinions on a new idea to vastly increase the number of audio described/narrated films produced annually. The ultimate aim is to enable people with sight loss to enjoy the same choice of films, with the same convenience and purchasing options as everyone else.
As well as gathering feedback from people with varying degrees of sight loss, We're also hoping to hear from people with NO sight problems. We’d like to know: Would a person with NO sight problems listen to certain films in ‘audio-only’ format? Simply for entertainment, like an audiobook or radio drama.
Can you help? All we ask for now is that people - with or without sight problems - listen to, and provide feedback on, one or more of the 5-minute audio description/narration samples provided on the links below. Then let us know your thoughts - whatever comes to mind - by simply emailing ad@yourlocalcinema.com
And please pass on this message to others - with or without sight loss - that you think may be interested in helping! Thanks very much for your time, looking forward to hearing from you.
